Land, air, and water — moved through complexity.

A sample of engagements spanning military-base reuse, emerging-technology ecosystems, and regional economic development across California.

Public institution · Fort Ord Reuse Authority · 2013–2020

Fort Ord Regional Transformation

Advanced through Senior Planner, Economic Development Manager, and ultimately Executive Officer roles, leading the final phase of a 26-year, multi-jurisdictional military-base reuse program spanning land use, infrastructure, higher education, and environmental obligations.

Result: ~$30M tax-revenue bond strategy for building removal; ~$17.8M in habitat-conservation funding transitioned; APA National Best Practice award for the Fort Ord Regional Urban Design Guidelines.
Industry ecosystem · DART · 2018–present

DART / Low-Altitude Economy Ecosystem

Co-founded and scaled an independent nonprofit platform connecting industry, education, government, and infrastructure around the region's emerging drone, aviation, and robotics sector.

Result: 250+ attendees at the LIFT national AAM summit; founding leadership of the Monterey Bay Tech Hub Infrastructure Working Group; AAM Infrastructure Readiness Assessment methodology adopted by the national CAAT consortium.
Business retention · Joby Aviation · FORA through RGS/DART

Joby Aviation / Marina Aerospace Expansion

Supported site-selection and ecosystem work during the Fort Ord era, then carried that domain knowledge directly into a City of Marina retention engagement — coordinating workforce, university, municipal, and state relationships.

Result: DART ecosystem work supported the environment around a $9.8M CalCompetes award and hundreds of additional California jobs.
Infrastructure readiness · Monterey Bay Tech Hub · 2024–present

AAM Infrastructure System

Co-founded the Monterey Bay Tech Hub and led its Infrastructure Working Group, convening monthly since February 2024 to prepare a multi-airport region for advanced air mobility deployment.

Result: SOAR AAM Readiness Assessment delivered; lineage into the $7.4M CAAMCI regional investment initiative.
Workforce systems · DART, Joby, Hartnell, PVUSD · 2022–present

Advanced Aviation Workforce System

Developed and scaled employer-driven apprenticeship, education, and K-12 pathways connecting advanced manufacturing and aviation employers to a trained local workforce.

Result: 60+ apprentices enrolled, ~80% completion, ~22% average wage increase within one year.
Major-site reuse · City of Fort Bragg · 2021–2022

Fort Bragg Mill Site Diversification

Led a competitive, multidisciplinary economic-diversification analysis for a ~430-acre former industrial waterfront property, identifying community-aligned reuse concepts.

Result: Catalytic concepts advanced for a Blue Economy Innovation Hub, the Noyo Center for Marine Science, and supporting infrastructure.
